Sublimation: This type of transfer is a specific process of printing that first involves printing onto a special sheet of paper, then transferring that image onto another material (the shirt). The ink is then heated until it disintegrates into the fabric. Sublimation works best on white or other light colored fabrics. For 100% polyester colors, solid black ink works best as sublimation ink is transparent. At K’s Kustom Kreations we use 100% polyester shirts to provide the most vibrant design with little to no wash out. Women’s styles are V-Neck, for a regular collar select men’s and size down! As the dye becomes embedded in the actual fibres - it results in a permanent print. This ensures your sublimated design lasts for a lifetime without cracking or peeling over time. Sublimation shirts have a performance (silky) like feel. For a shirt that is more cotton feeling, a blended polyester shirt can be used but will have a retro look and washout!
